Produced by Ken Kokin (Ususal Suspects and Sundance Winner, Public Access), the TOMS Shoe Drop experience is beautifully documented to reflect the One for One mission, “With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a new pair of shoes to a child in need.” The first Shoe Drop took place in Argentina in October of 2006, when TOMS Shoes Founder and Chief Shoe Giver Blake Mycoskie and his team brought 10,000 pairs of shoes to distribute to children in need.

In March 2010, TOMS traveled to Rwanda for a unique Shoe Drop, in partnership with Kris Allen, last year’s American Idol winner, and Little Rock, AR-based organization Bridge2Rwanda. Many of these children have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS and many come from families still feeling the effects of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda.
