one of my favorite … one of my favorite country female singers by far!! aling with Reba,JoDee,Terri Clark,&Martina McBride..!!!!! But Lorrie is just outstanding love her voice and she is a gorgeous lady!
I prefer a more … I prefer a more understated singer. When I see singers who overdo things I often think that they should be actors. I love to hear the nuances in a singers voice and if that person is always showing off with their range then I tune out even if I know that singer has talent.
Okay… I like Reba … Okay… I like Reba a lot as a person and a performer. And she has great range. But I think Lorrie has a more appealing voice. As performers who have great range , (ie: Reba, Mariah Cary, Patti LaBelle), they tend to want to show us the range rather then just singing the dang song. I think Reba is very talented and certainly was helped by superior songs to sing. But to me Lorrie is a better singer. And that’s why the good Lord made different voices folks okay Reba fans?
Does anyone know … Does anyone know what that stringed instrument is called that stands horizontally on four legs and sounds like a whining guitar? Thanks.
I wouldnt buy a cd … I wouldnt buy a cd by either one of them to tell you the truth. And I,ve seen Reba live, even though she wasnt the act I went there to see which was actually brooks and dunn, she was ok..all I,m saying is Lorrie Morgan has a more appealing voice to, me anyway. I beg to differ that no one could hit the notes. Id bet Martina McBride could sing anything pretty much. As could Leann Rhimes. Again, not really a fan of either, just sayin.
No not OK. I enjoy … No not OK. I enjoy Lorrie as long as its not live. This song and something in Red are amazing songs. Also enjoy a picture of me without you George Jones song remade by her. She could never hit the notes of a song like You Lie by Reba. I doubt any other country singer could. I don’t know why you are comparing them. Lorrie did well who cares that she couldn’t sell albums or have the vocal range Reba McEntire did? Its like you are jealous because you enjoy Lorrie more and she didn’t beat Reba?
Sorry, if she had a … Sorry, if she had a WAYYYY better voice than Reba she would have ended up being the biggest selling female singer of all time like Reba did. I really doubt she sits aroung wishing to be Reba why do you as her fan pity her instead of enjoy her accomplishments?
Reba is a bigger … Reba is a bigger star simply because (at least outwardly) she’s not a slut. Don’t get me wrong. I really like some of what Lorrie does with her music, but so much of it, just like this song, centers around screwing. And based on what I know about her life, she sings what she lives.
